Sony has announced the imminent European release of their 2.1 BRAVIA DAV-F200 home theatre system, featuring:
- 405 watts of power, split evenly between the two speakers and subwoofer.
- S-Force Front Surround that uses psycho-acoustics trickery to deliver surround sound from limited speaker sources.
- 1080p DVD upscaling over HDMI
- DivX support.
- Optical, coaxial, and USB digital inputs.
- Sony’s proprietary DMPORT expansion slot, which can be fitted with a range of adapters offering additional functionality like wireless streaming or iPod connectivity.
- Supports BRAVIA Sync - automatic connection and integration with a BRAVIA HDTV, with just one HDMI cable.
The DAV-F200 is available later this month in European markets at a mystery price point, no word on a US release.
